E2METRIX was founded in 2010 on a proprietary electro-technology platform for treating industrial and municipal wastewater. Over the next decade, that technology proved effective against a tougher target: PFAS — now one of the most critical challenges in the water industry. Following a successful partnership, Ovivo acquired E2METRIX in 2024, turning it into the driving force behind an integrated PFAS destruction solution built on Olift® Foam Fractionation and Obreak® electro-oxidation — destroying PFAS onsite instead of moving it somewhere else.
2010
E2METRIX is founded
Launched in Sherbrooke, Quebec to design, develop and manufacture clean electro-technologies for contaminated water.
2024
Acquired by Ovivo
Ovivo completes its acquisition of E2METRIX, pairing onsite PFAS destruction with 150 years of water treatment expertise.
2025
U.S. expansion
E2METRIX USA, LLC opens in Salt Lake City, bringing onsite destruction technology directly to U.S. utilities and industry.
